Chemistry I

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles and applications of general chemistry. This course examines topics that include the composition of matter, the atom, chemical bonding, solutions, measurements, chemical nomenclature, stoichiometry, and thermochemistry.

This is a three credit‐hour course; satisfactory completion of the course requires passing a midterm and a final exam.

*Must take with CHEM 2111 to meet lab requirements
